Noro 9 Essentials - can I upgrade?

I have an original CD with Nero 9 Essentials 9.4.9.0.
In Nero Control Center, when I click "Check upgrades", it opens a page
"http://www.nero.com/plk/downloads.html" where I can only upgrade to
full Nero version.
Is it possible to upgrade my software to the latest Essentials version?

Think the full version upgrade does the upgrading for Essentials also.
Think Nero install goes by the serial number to distinguish between the
full and Essentials. (Or, the install may check the version of installed
Nero and upgrade appropriately.) Try the full version upgrade, and
please post back whether it upgrades Essentials.
