Astarte CD-Copy

My department recently inherited a copy of Toast 2.5.4.
Someone recommended that we buy Astarte CD-Copy to go along with it. I
have two questions about this. Can I use CD-Copy with the version I have
or would I need to buy a more recent version of Toast? Secondly, what
benefits would I gain with CD-COPY that I do not have with Toast? Thank

You can't actually buy a more recent version of Toast from Astarte' --
they sold the software to Adaptec earlier this year. Adaptec's current
version is 3.5.

We're planning a review of Astarte's current software suite (including
CD Copy) in Burning Issues soon, so you might like to keep an eye open
on that site. There is also a story there by Ray Brunelle about
Astarte's current plans, now that they've moved into their "Post Toast"
