How can i install Samba 2.0.7 on Mandrake 5.3 ?

I have Linux Mandrake 5.3 with samba 2.0.4.

Can I install samba 2.0.7 ? if yes how?

well, section 4.2 on my web-page (see sig) is 'installing a new level'.
It took me this long to find a mirror where 2.0.7 had propagated - I
have not actually tried it yet with this level.

ok, chapter 4.2 still applies.
It looks as though linux hangs if you boot with a smb-mounted drive
active, a bug that was around in 2.0.5 but not 2.0.6.

I answered this last night, but the answer does not appear to have been
propagated to other news servers.
Section 4.2 on the link in the sig should help you here.
First tests with 2.0.7 indicate that booting Linux with a smb-mounted
drive around causes the boot to hang. This bug was in the 2.0.5 version
of smbmount as well but not in the 2.0.6 version. Is this true for
anyone else?
