Title: Team Foundation Build/ Release Engineer
Location : Austin TX and Tuscon AZ
Duration: 6+ months to One year
Skills:
Role and Responsibilities
· Installation, configuration, and management of all source
control and build automation tools
· Implementation of all major project builds and moves across
multiple environments for all projects within the organization and
provide gatekeeper functionality between development and operation
groups
· Defines and implements build and branching strategies for
the development team
· Ensures the solutions are TFS-based and automated, providing
continuity for the Development organization
· Supports the Product Architects and Dev Leads in identifying
and extracting reusable software components
· Builds product Installers and supports any MS Gold
Certification (or other) requirements regarding Configuration
Management
· Works closely with the Developers to understand and support
their needs for daily builds, continuing integration, etc.
· Resolves any issues associated with the Configuration
Management process
· Experienced in automated Build Management systems
· It is an integral function spanning across the software life
cycle
· Candidate will be responsible for creating projects and
merging code streams in Team Foundation Server (TFS)

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or related field
· 2+ years experience as a build / release engineer for .NET
applications utilizing TFS/Visual Studio/MSBuild
· Experienced with modular build design and dependency
management
· Experienced in Configuration Management, including
monitoring and automation of builds and moves across environments and
across multiple projects
· Experienced in software tools / automation
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Should have a thorough understanding of TFS where the
successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to
produce high quality scripts and perform continuous improvement with
the goal of a single integrated and automated process
