NT4 won't see Workgroup?

What ho!

We have a network of 3 PCs at Win95, two HP700s and a Sparc. The three
UNIX machines all run samba with the same workgroup name. We then upgraded
two of the PCs to NT4 and now none of the machines can see the UNIX
workgroup. The Win95 machine can browse the UNIX machines but only if you
type in the network path such as "\\UNIXHOST\whatever". This approach does
not work on the NT4 machines at all.

Can anybody point me to some relevant information?
