hai to all the group members,

This is the Nagendra woring as Engineer in NOMUS COMM SYSTEMS.

Right now iam working in Linux Embedded project with mpc
processor, It contains Wan Interfaces, for that wan interface one HDLC
controller that driver is registered as network device with the kernel
2.6.11.

My qurie is can we run pppd over network device that mean ppp over
hdlc. As per knowledge pppd can run only tty style devices(char
devices) or network devices with support of pppoe.

I need to run pppd over network device, can any budy suggest me.

Is there any documentation regarding pppd source. regarding code flow.
