Hi,

I am trying to use my O2 Xda Atom as a USB Modem. However, I keep on
getting this message stating, "Error 934: PPP Link Protocol was
Terminated". Could anyone please help me to resolve this?

I am not sure if inserting my modem log helps. Anyway, they are as

I'm not a windoze user, but this appears to be a hardware compatibility
issue. Windoze isn't doing a good job talking to the modem.

That's a baffle 'em with bullshit type of file - filled with (for the
most part) techno-babble.

The driver isn't mimicking a RS-232 serial port properly.

It appears to be talking to something - that's the good news

That's one hell of a fast 'dial, answer, negotiate' stage.

followed by a very quick 'throw the phone back on the hook'. I see
no indication that it actually heard anything from the other end of
the phone line.

Your communications program is having extreme difficulty in controlling
the modem. This REALLY looks like you've got the wrong driver. This
has nothing to do with the ppp protocol.

There is a 'comp.dcom.modems' news group that might be more appropriate,
but the group is pretty quiet. You may want to take the modem/computer
back to the store where you've bought it - perhaps someone there can
configure it suitably.
