Job description The opening is for the leading telecom giant, Nokia
Siemens Networks. The NSN LTE team works in Bangalore on a core
component of the eNodeB. The mobile backhaul team in BLR working on
this core component is looking for IP, datacom, telecom product
development experts with 4-8 years of experience in protocol
development. The person is expected to have good knowledge in C++,
OOPs OOAD and embedded system.This is purely an individual contributor
(hands on) role.
Technical 1. Should have extensive
experience in designing & developing protocols for L2/ L3.
2. Desired experience includes - L2 Switching, IP Packet forwarding,
VLAN, QoS/ DiffServ, IP Firewall.
3. Experience in Linux Kernel (routing, L3 packet forwarding), OS
concepts – IPC/ Multithreading, Network Processor programming.
4. Hands on experience in C & C++ coding.
5. Good knowledge/experience in TCP/IP, socket programming
6. Good understanding of system development and designing.
7. Excellent debugging skills (core dump analysis, GDB, out of box
thinking for solving sticky issues)
Domain Expertise GSM/WCDMA/LTE
Non Technical SDLC awareness.
Good attitude and ability to gel well with the team.
Preferable 1. Working in multi-site
environment
2. Advanced C++ skills, knowledge of design patterns.
3. Understanding of the security standards - IPSec, IKEv1/v2, SSL,
PKI, Crypto Algorithms, AAA and Firewall .
Experience 4 - 8 Years
Qualification UG - B.Tech/B.E. - Computer
Science / E&C
PG - Computer Science / E&C (desirable)
