Hi all. I have a question on an address for zone. I am trying to
deligate my own domain name (kettenring.com), I don't have a static IP
address. Can I use donnie.dynip.com? For example:

;zone
kettenring.com IN A donnie.dynip.com

If you need more information I will try to provide it.
Thanks
Donnie

The parameter in an A record must be an address.

You could do:

www.kettenring.com. IN CNAME donnie.dynip.com.
kettenring.com. IN MX 10 donnie.dynip.com.

(don't forget the trailing dots). Unfortunately, you can't make the domain
name an alias for donnie, since a CNAME record can't be used for a name
that has other records, and a delegated domain name has to have NS and SOA
records.
