Hello Everybody,

Here is another novice trying on your partience.

I am trying to have some idea on setting up and configuring BIND 9.x
on RedHat Linux 7.1. But I am not directly connected to the internet.
I am behind a proxy server (MS Proxy 2.0). Is it possible to configure
and test a DNS from being behind the proxy ? My intention is to
configure BIND and see how it works.

Please help.

With regards,

this depends on the proxy server, and it's rules. why not try it and find
out? note: almost all proxies are configured to handle dns service, some
even transparently intercept queries.
