I have upgraded from bind 8... to 9.2.1 and now,
after starting named everything is ok, except
I find in /var/adm/messages:
Nov 19 11:38:34 server_name named[21729]: [ID 866145 daemon.error] none:0:
open: /etc/rndc.key: file not found
There is no rndc.key file in /etc but also this file
is not in instalation directory! Where to find
this file or what to do to stop this message.
Best regards
Yaro
Read the documentation that comes with bind-9, there is a section
( end of 3.4.1.1 that explicitly describes this)

Sorry about my e-mail address, but i'm trying to keep spam out,
remove "icke-reklam" if you feel for mailing me. Thanx.
(1) read doc/misc/migration
(2) run '/usr/sbin/rndc-confgen -a'

done - but what to type after this message:
# ./rndc-confgen -a
You must use the keyboard to create entropy, since your system is lacking
/dev/random (or equivalent)
start typing:
I started but it didn't bring any result. So I pressed Ctrl+c to
exit.
Thanks for help
Yaro
You need to keep typing until it says to stop.

or setup /dev/random.

bringing you boring signatures for 17 years
You do what it says - you type. Anything. Random gibberish.
Something like this:
skeng'iwerng'aiwrg oainetb apj wroignWEPRG OUAZN ZI BOAIZN 'THNBM
SA304A'M"Q m
'pwmegf'apmrebaopmnb
atkhamwrgma;se;htmsa4pm bpamewrlkgfdnggiajnmrlkhgamn;etokhbm
aodfmfak43tm'EKGM A'F;LKBMZ.DVBM
APFEKMH'A;MEHAPO5TMHA?DWMG'CDMMG"ARWKGM'AMWEG;LAEMR;HGLMRTHA;
and it turns the random keystrokes into a random selection of key for
the communications. It will eventually tell you to stop.
