what does "No SR-specific semantics are specified" mean ?

Hi,

in the SR Document Series module description, we can read

Attribute Name: Series Instance UID
tag: (0020,000E)
type: 1
Attribute Description: Unique identifier of the Series.
Note: No SR-specific semantics are specified.

Attribute Name:Series Number
tag: (0020,0011)
type: 1
Attribute Description:A number that identifies the Series.
Note: No SR-specific semantics are specified.


what is the meaning of the note ? I do not understand :(

"No SR-specific semantic" means that a Series has no special meaning for SR documents, in contrast to e.g. CT or MR.
