ImageType for 3D X-Ray image

Hello,
what would be the best choice for ImageType (tag (0008,0008)) for a 3D X-Ray image ?
I initially chose DERIVED/PRIMARY for 1st and 2nd values.
But:
1) it is specified in the std (2011) that "For CT, original frames are those directly reconstructed from projection data." and a 3D X-Ray image is really close to a CT image (it is sometimes called CT X-Ray based)
2) none of the derivation process proposed by the std is good wrt to the way the 3D X-Ray image is built.
So from 1), i think I can choose ORIGINAL/PRIMARY
Do I make a mistake if I choose to set ImageType = ORIGINAL/PRIMARY ?
