Hi,
I would like to make this group aware of the DICOM for Quantitative
Imaging (DICOM4QI) connectathon (
https://qiicr.gitbooks.io/dicom4qi/)
that we have been organizing for the past 2 years now.
The goal of DICOM4QI has been to test DICOM interoperability of
commercial and open source workstations and tools in communicating
types of objects commonly used in quantitative image analysis.
Specifically, we evaluated interoperability of image segmentations,
parametric maps, and quantitative measurements calculated over
segmentation volumes, represented using DICOM objects (Segmentation
image IOD, Parametric map IOD, and SR Template ID 1500).
For the past 2 years we held DICOM4QI as an exhibit at RSNA
Quantitative Imaging Reading Room. In the last year, participating
groups included 3D Slicer, ePAD, Brainlab, Mint Lesion, MITK,
MeVisLab, and others.
This year we plan to again apply for an exhibit space at RSNA to
continue this activity, and are also planning to include Tractography
Results IOD as a new type of object evaluated, and put more focus on
clinically relevant use cases.
If you are developing an open source or commercial tool that already
supports, or is in the process of adding support of the DICOM objects
mentioned above, we would be happy if you joined!
See details and results of the past year connectathon here:
https://qiicr.gitbooks.io/dicom4qi/, and please email me directly or
reply to this thread if you have any questions or would like to join!
