Hi All,

For a study I am calculating the radiotion dose of several x-rays (in mSv) using a montecarlo programme. This calculation makes use of the Area Dose Product (ADP) (dicom tag 0018,115e). Dicom lookup says that this is measured in dGy*cm*cm. But the dicom information differs a lot: some x-rays have a Area Dose Product of almost 2000 times the other, for the same kind of x-ray (same bodypart scanned, same KVP). This results in a very big variation in radiation dosis. Is it possible that some of these ADP are measured in a different order of magnitude? For example mGy*cm*cm or Gy*cm*cm of Gy*m*m?

Many thanks!
