I dont know...all the folks on here winning PC's all the time.!!

Perhapse something could usefullybe said on the subject of selling PC's.

my best advice is that if one has the slightest qualm about anything
personal on their PC, the simplest and most secure method of restoration is
to do a 'low level' wipe format.. a couple of minutes after... the hard
disk is in the condition it came out of the hard disk factory in and ideal
for a new owner or user... course it will need the operating system
reinstalling but this will greatly benefit any future user who will
effectively have a brand new machine!

this might also suit anyone with a virus or indeed the many folk who are
simply cheesed off with the eormous amount of guff on their machine, and
understandably want to bring back that fresh out of the box responsiveness
all in order and completely virus free! If only we we could do this with
our bodies!! ;-)

Beware though.. anyone not knowing how to reformat and reinstall the
software on their PC should seek experienced help and guidance.. its a bit
late downloading neceesry drivers after you have successfully wiped your
hard disk :-))

ps PGP keeps a lot of folk (including a fair few villains I would guess)
happy but I seriously wouldnt recommend it for the ordinary comper folk such
as you or I.

the following URL has more... including a link to a good low level
formatting (dos) program called bcwipepd(.zip) which permanently erases
'everything' and brings a hard disk back to fresh out of the factory
condition.

good luck
