until 1996 there was with the Teac FD-505 a Combo (Dual)
Floppy Disk Drive available which can handle 3,5" and 5,25".
A view onto the url
http://www.teac.com/DSPD/support/floppy_drives/floppy_drives.htm
is showing that there were four model series existing:
FD505-000, FD505-100, FD505-200 und FD505-300.
And from that product lines submodels are for example
FD-505-309-U, FD-505-300-U, FD-505-302-U, FD-505-318-U5.
Has somebody an idea what are the differences between the
models -000 to -300 and what stands behind the product
nomenclature of these Teac combo drives? For example
FD-505-x09-U stands for a white brezel.
Available manuals and specs as well as Teacs web ressources
are unfortunately not providing that information.
Thank you in advance for a hint.
