I'm trying to find a listing of firms which make SCSI host adapters and
their respective market share.

I assume Dataquest or the like track this stuff, but I don't have the
resources to pay for a report which contains more excrutiating detail
than I will ever need.

If someone knows the top 10 off of the top of their head and can post it
here, or can cite a good source available at reasonable cost, it would
certainly help.

This is only part of the SCSI market.

If you are trying to address the entire market, you have to consider
chip sales because some companies may have more success getting
on the motherboard than on host adapters.

Considering that every Macintosh other than the first two or three
models has SCSI built in, and that Macintosh SCSI uses a lot more NCR
chips than Adaptec chips, Adaptec is more likley a distant second.
