I=B4ve bought an old 486 with a scsi card from adaptec.
Does anyone have drivers and/or info about this card?
It displays Adaptec AIC 6360 at boot.
Seems it=B4s a bit too old for Adaptec to care about =3D:-(

Thanks!

Adaptec still make controllers using this chip. Basically the really
cheap ISA controllers the 1510/1505, use this. It depends what
drivers you want, and what OS you are under. W95 and NT both have
drivers built in for the chip. DOS would require ASPI2DOS.SYS to give
ASPI support, and then whatever other drivers are needed for devices
attached (ASPIDISK.SYS for drives, and ASPICD.SYS for CD's).

Good Luck

that is the same as the chip used on the "iomega zip zoom SCSI
accelerator" (sic!)

I've managed to install it as AHA152x (I believe it's 1522)

hope this work for you!

Mario.

Do you know where I could obtain a copy of ASPI2DOS.SYS? I can't find it
either on the Adaptec site or the Creative Labs (for the SB 16 SCSI) site.

Thanks.

Olle!
I am running a 486/66 with an AIC VESA 32 bit SCSI controller, and when
I upgraded to WIN 95, it installed "SPARROW.MPD" drivers resident on the
WIN 95 CD-rom.
good luck!
