Flatbed then. Are looking for value or quality? Cheep scanners are
cheep... The Epson 750 is well regarded among photographers.

Sites (plural), yes, but one and the same company.
...filmscanner... --> testsite
...scandig... --> salessite

You're right, mainly filmscanners is their business.
There are some flatbed paper scanner tests, f.e. canoscan & epson.
The models tested combine paper & filmscanning though.
