I'm looking for a fax machine with a built-in Ethernet NIC so that
users can send (and maybe receive) a fax from their desktop. I've
browsed around some but can't find anything like that.

I have been told they used to exist but I must not be asking the right
keywords.

I know the easiest answer is to buy a server and fax server software
and a document scanner. However this is for secretaries, not techies.
And desk space is a premium (or at least a smaller footprint than a
server + full page scanner)

Has anyone tried those all-in-one devices (fax, printer, scanner)? If
an inexpensive print server box was attached to one of those devices,
then the users can send faxes. The question is, can incoming faxes be
directed to a user(s) in digital form instead of automatically printed?

Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
