How ca I reinstall Adobe Acrobat Printer

I thought this was only installed as part of Acrobat, not the reader.

Nope, it isn't part of Adobe Acrobat Reader. It is part of the full
Acrobat product, but you may also have gotten an Acrobat printer driver
with some photo or other software that expects to output to a printer.
You may have to do some experimenting by reinstalling various
applications until you find the one that reinstalls your Acrobat printer
drivers.

It mysteriously appeared on the PC at work and even on my Dell 8200.

I'm probably missing something but I jst need the adobe printer driver that
genearates a ,PDF file fronm
any data, e.g., jpg, photo, word, esxel, etc. I don't see that driver on
the adobe d/l site.

You are talking about the full version of Adobe Acrobat. Retail is $199-249.

That would be Adobe Acrobat itself, not the Reader. You can get freeware or
shareware such as Win2PDF to do simple "Print to PDF" conversions. Also,
many word processing and graphics programs offer "Save to PDF" capabilities.

It guess it was installed w/ scanning software.
I'll search up a copy of Win2PDF.

It must've been installed by scaning software.

I have the full version of PS Elements 2.0 and there is no printer driver for
PDF files. However you can save a file as a PDF. I tried saving a JPEG file
as a PDF this morning and it worked. Adobe Acrobat 5.0 opened the file just
fine.
