uk: which colour inkjet A3 printer should I buy?

I'm in the UK and looking to buy a colour inkjet printer that will do both
A3 and A4 and I'd appreciate advice/feedback about what printers are good
and what, if any, should be avoided. Due to money restraints is has to be
inkjet level prices.

a friend put in a hp deskjet 1220c yesterday so no history to go on but
initial report is favourable, very quiet & excellent print quality (photo's,
etc) - dabs currently selling at £205 + vat
