Based on the concern people in the US and Canada about the Gray Balancer
not being included with the Epson 2200 I've posted the first installment
of a review of the Gray Balancer here:
http://www.manleft.com/blog2100/detail.cfm?ID=29

The first installment covers the first run thru the Gray Balancer as
recommended by Epson. I'll be adding to it over the next few days as I
explore more features.

The bottom line is this isn't 'software from hell'... The process is
straightforward and you do get a significantly improved print at the end
of it.

I don't know how that can be a bad thing.

Thanx for the review, it sounds like the banding I mentioned in an earlier post
(2000p 1160) should be fixed?
If you missed it - the url is http://eddiem.com/photo/printer/purple/band.html
I've been promised a test print of my test image on a 2100/2200 but I'm still
waiting - maybe tomorrow I'll know.
I guess you're not keen on using any more paper :)
It will been interesting to see if the balancer is bundled in the ozzie
version, I'll be pissed off if it isn't.
Eddie,

Visit me @eddiem.com or put Eddie in front and you have my email address.

Is he? I don't know him and haven't seen anything that indicates he's from oz.

Eddie would it be sufficient if I printed a small area of the image? if
you have no luck with it, I could do one and post it to you - I'm in oz
too. But be forewarned, posting things is not something we're good at
around here, live out of the way some.

no worries, it is in the ozzie version, it's a neat tool.
