As a company, they really did not learn to adapt to the technological

BTW: Lexmark is dropping printer manufacture.

If I remember, their goal was to sell the printers for a bit more, but
the ink for less. Most buyers see the higher initial price, then go
elsewhere. Nobody thinks long-term.

I think you are confusing MBAs with Accountants, who know how to cut
costs but not build businesses.

Unfortunately, this is not new or unusual.
Kodak invented the digital camera.
Kodak first mass-produced film and cameras.
Xerox invented the electrostatic copier.
IBM built the first mass produced personal computers.
So it goes.

As for me I'm an engineer and an entrepreneur plus a few more ... most of
the MBA types I've had to deal with were both a PI* and worse than
worthless.

Yes six years in engineering & commerce; and I agree with you about
people who have no knowledge of business being let loose!
