Why do I get poor washed-out colours on this printer?

I am using WinXP (not SP-1) together with the 750ESC/P2 driver and the
EE05-1 Colour Profile.

There doesn't appear to be a specific driver for XP.

Epson inks with Epson paper make no significant difference.

My monitor calibration makes little difference.

Over increasing the saturation in Photoshop has little effect either.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Malcolm.

go to epson website and download win 2000 drivers via printer
properties/advanced page, select new driver and install them and then you
get all proper driver options, ignore usual warnings about drivers not
suitable etc.
