Lumix Fx7 Pictbridge and Canon Pictbridge Printers compatible ?

My Camera is the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX7K the new one one with
PictPrint.. and accordin to Canon the S330 Photoprinter is pictbridge
as well so I see why it cannot access it.. then it is not industry
standard then ? As I have the canon camera S500 and G6 as well but for
small trips I prefer the FX7.
