I have a PSC 950, which is similar to the PSC 750 but includes the Fax and card
slot stuff. The ease of use is great - the selling feature for me was the
"tiny bubbles" feature for printing from the photo cards on the 950. You put
the photo card in, print an index page, then check off which photo's you want
and the size by filling in spots on the index page, then put the sheet back on
the scanner, press 2 buttons and your pictures are printed.

The copier is standalone, it does not require a computer to be connected to
make color or B&W copies.

As for quality, the text and photo capability are very good, and comparable to
the Photosmart P1xxx or Deskjet 9xx printers.

I have recently seen refurbished PSC 950's at Office Max or Staples (don't
remember which) for $99. I was happy to pay $329 for mine a while back...

Hey...I saw that on MSN shopping or something. Pretty neat feature!

One downfall of my scanner --> printer hook-up...I need the computer to be
on.

It uses the 15/78 cartridges right?

Sounds like a good deal... I was actually going to get a PSC2110 after
seeing a similar model (I believe PSC750) at CompUSA that they used for
scanning receipts. Instead, I got a Canon scanner. I'm much happier with
this setup since I can use my cheap 45a cartridge in my deskjet 930c :)

Yeah, I saw that, at Staples.

Unfortunately, "quantities are limited" - my local store wase out by 2pm on
the Sunday when the ad first appeared. I couldn't get them to tell me whether
they'd actually had more than one available in the first place.
