Canon BC-01 & BC-02 inkjet cartridges

These 2 cartridges appear to be identical, but with different labels and
price.

What, if anything, is the difference between them?

BC-01 was made for the earlier BJ-10/10E /20 and Laserwriter models and the
electronics differ from those of the BC-02 used in BJ- 100/ 200/ 210/ 230/
240/ 250 & LSWR2 or Apple Stylewriter I & II, or IBM/Lexmark and Star
versions.

The inks are very close in composition. These cartridges, and the tri-color
BC-05 are among the easiest and most reliable to refill.

Image Control has sold over 8,000 refill kits for them since 1992. The black
refill kit = 8 full, 20ml refills the color refill kit refills EACH color up
to 12 times. Either is $US19.00 or $Can29.00.
