Anyone know of a decent paper cutter for cropping photos, one that has
an illuminated guide or some other way to see exactly where the cut
will be made?

In my experience, rotary cutters are by far the best choice. Alignment is
pretty simple due to the way they are set up.

Costco is selling a Fiskars Letter Sized Rotary cutter for under $30.00
made for Costco but still with the Fiskars name. It works great.

Really? I would never have guessed that. Maybe I've never used a good
one.

I've read about this one--it's expensive, but posters have raved about it in
crafting groups. It has an optional edgelight that is supposed to make for
exceptional accuracy. No personal experience as have had no need for one.
