Dear Group,

What Ink-jet printers are available for printing onto plastic film. I
do not want to use the specially treated ink-jet transparencies
that one usually buys in an office supply store- Just straight
vigin plastic such as acetate, polyester, or pvc

I suspect that the ink would have to be a very fast drying solvent
based formulation.

Can anyone direct me to such a supplier.

Thank You

Regards,

Peter

Have you looked into what sign printing firms use in their inkjets?

On the other hand, it may not be that they are using plain garden
variety plastic films.

Jim
