Can anyone advise me on this?

When my Windows 95 boots up at computer start up, a one line (binary)
print 'job" gets sent to my HP 5L printer; both printer bottom LED
lights turn green, indicating there's something been passed from the
computer to printer memory. Then when I print out the memory, I get one
line of gibberish (looks like binary codes).

This wasn't happening before; the problem suddenly began to occur the
other day. I have made no changes to my system.

Can someone please tell me how this can be corrected?

Thanks.

If you've recently installed some s/w, it may have installed an older .DLL
printer file that probably too old and conflicts with what it should be.
Your problem isn't described as you've mentioned a similar problem is
mentioned in HP's support website, just read alot more to get what maybe
the exact hint you need. It hsould be under thier FAQ or tech
hint/knowledge base for that info. If I remeber right you have to remove
or de-install the printer and re-install again, if that does it ok, but if
not you have to manually remove the .DLL files to get the one causing the
problem in massive delete.

good luck -----Willy
