The same as the BCI3e-BK and BCI6 cart (I think something like 40/15ml)
The prices, for OEM, are more due to the new ink formula and chip. I don't
think there are 3rd party CL-100 Canon carts yet. I think Bulk ink is
available though.
$12.50 shipped is the lowest I have seen.
It's pretty amazing that they raise the price of the ink cartridge
(because of a chip that costs pennies), yet continue to drop the price
of the printer, which has hundreds of parts.

Is there actually a chip (Integrated Circuit) on the cartridge,
or are they just contacts that relay information to circuitry
in the printer itself?
Any idea where we can get the information on the technology involved?

I think $3 more for OEM CL100 inks, compared to BCI6.
$10/13 BCI6/CLI8, IIRC, form a web site. £8.99/£10.99 on a UK site.

The bci-6 is $12 while cli-8 is $14
The PGi-5BK is $16 while the BCi-3eBK is $12.
*ml according to the canon package.
