HP 2575??

I bought a brand new HP Photosmart 2575 all in one printer & not had it all
that long when it decided to no longer pull a sheet of paper to be printed.
I could see the mechanism wheel turning but it would not pull. I tried
various types of paper but still no luck.

It is now being sorted by QVC whom i bought it from.

Is this a known problem as i have never had a faulty HP printer yet.

I bought one of these last January (£90 Comet online free P&P :-) ) and
apart from losing its IP address periodically and no proper paper tray, I am
very pleased with it... no paper feed problems at all...

It does everything and much more than I would ever expect of a printer..

I did buy this junk recently.

will not do it again.
The only positiv thing is, it has the lan in it, so after 3 weeks of
trying and consulting nuber of IT folks, I manged at least to print
from my w2000 on it.

Software comes with it likes to install 1.1Gb of junk on your system.

Abt every second time I switch the computer and the printer on, it
tells me it is connected by USB cable. I have removed the USB very
soon, since the 2575 did not manage to communicate over it at all.
Lucky, the LAN can talk to it, so after long experimenting the printer
prints something.

The photo printing, well I dont know, but the colors are anythning but
natural, all seems to be somhow green, editing the picts is definitely
not suitable for PnP user as HP is suggesting it.

Cartriges are too small, ver ysoon empty and apparently can not be
refilled, belog to the new group of cartriges with some kind of chip
in it or what. Simply, the cartrige is just a fraction of endurance
from my previous HP880, but 3 times as expensive.
