Howdy,

I am printing out an 8.5x11 print on my friend's Epson 1280 this evening,
and I plan on framing the print to keep. Kinko's can laminate this for a
couple of bucks, and I am wondering if this is a recommended procedure to
do, after it dries for an hour or so of course.

Thanks for any suggestions you can provide on this for me.

I laminate all my prints and have done for a few years now, some prints
are five years old and (touch wood) show no signs of fading.

Laminating IMO seems to enrich the colours also

I don't know if this provides any benifit over just keeping it under glass,
but you sure don't want to keep it out in the open.

Doesn't the 1280 still have the green-shift issue that the 1270 had? I've
been lucky. I've only had one or two shift on me.
