Hi all, I'm after a low end bubblejet or laser for printing on A3
pages. Anyone know of any?

What about OfficeJet style multi-purpose printer/scanner/fax/copier
etc...?

TIA, sTu.

I don't recommend the all-in-one jobbies, because, you can divide the
effectiveness/quality by the number of components, i.e. if it's 4-in-1
(scanner, printer, fax, copier) then each component will be 25% the quality
of a dedicated scanner/printer/fax/copier.

And what experience have you of the OfficeJet 1170c, from personal
experience that machine uses some of the best technology available when it
was first manufactures. The printer was state of the art, used DJ890cxi
print engine: the scanner was based on one of the best available at the time
and it would work as an excellent colour and mono copier. That model was not
fitted with the fax adaptor on the 1175 but the functions were the same
otherwise. I have produced magazine quality A4 size colour prints directely
from the scanner.
