I am looking for a color printer for occasional printing. Right now it
is only for a few pages a week and speed is not an issue. Is this a good
printer for $50.00 or could I find a better low cost color printer.

I am using Win2000 and already have a printer connected to the parallel
port that does not have a USB option.

Thanks

Jeff

You pay $50 for printer, you pay $40 for carts.

It's getting to the point that when the cart runs dry, get a new printer.

Some of the newer printers that I have seen in the stores have
much smaller inkjet cartridges. For example, the Lexmark Z33. Its
cartridges are far smaller than those that it preceeded, the Z32.

If you live in the US, Walmart has the Z32 for $60.00.

With ever improving resolution of inkjet printers you have to stop and start
the print to an ever increasing degree of precision. To help this you either
slow down the print speed or reduce the weight of the print carriage
assembly. One way to reduce the weight is to reduce the ammount of ink in a
cartridge and the size of the cartridge. No that's my excuse what's yours:-)
