I'm having trouble with the cartridges. I refilled the cartridges and
everything worked fine for awhile, then the black cartridge quit
printing. I did all the suggested things for clearing blocked nozzles.
Nothing worked. I thought the printhead must be burnt out. So I bought a
new one. Everything went along fine for awhile but now the color one is
not printing at all. When I took it out to look at there was ink slowly
leaking out of the bottom larger hole of the printhead. There was ink in
the catridge holder. I cleaned that out. When I dab the bottom of the
catridge I get three color dots just as I should.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this is happening? Does
Lexmark make the catridges so they burn out after a short time?

I hope I have described the problem clearly. I'm very frustrated. I've
refilled HP's for years with no problems. I'm sorry I bought a Lexmark.

It is similar to HP in that the printhead is built into the cartridge.
