We have a customer using an old DOS based database system (that they don't
want to upgrade... hmmm!) which requires Epson ESC/P2 printer control
language - uses command line printing.

They've bought some new printers - Color Stylus 680 - because the firm that
supplied to software informed us that the only requirement was Parallel
connection, not USB.

They are now unable to print in 132 column mode because the driver is
wrong... 680's only have ESC/P Raster which uses a different instruction
set.

Has anybody used a different driver with this printer in order that it will
emulate an 880 or similar - or even the old dot-matrix type drivers?

Any help gratefully received - as I'm drawing a blank just trying to get
hold of Epson!

Regards
Simon
