I got a used HP722 printer on ebay, and it came with a nearly full
black print cartridge. The printer is a backup for my existing HP
722C printer. I removed the print cartridge. What's the best way
to store the print cartridge during the next couple of months, so
it doesn't dry out?

Thanks!
Scott

And it will probably still dry out...

Put it back in the 722 and print a page or two,
then leave it there. HP black cartridges don't
dry out in a normal printer. Otherwise, print a
page every week or two. If the docking seal is
bad, the only solution is to get rid of the
printer which would be cheaper than trying to fix
the docking seal for an old printer. My HP970 can
easily sit for 2-3 months without any use and not
affect operation of the black or color cartridge.
