Hi - what is the best compatible paper to the Canon GlossyPro PR101 type -
which can be bought in the UK.

Is Olmec from 7dayshop.com any good with this printer?

Thanks.

Red River "Ultra Glossy Pro" works great for me. About half the cost of
Canon too.

You missed the salient phrase "can be bought in the UK". Red River isn't
available over here.

I'm not familiar with Olmec, but I've used Ilford Galerie Pro very
successfully. It's packaged with a set of custom color settings for
various printers.... I use it with the Canon i850.

I've used TDK "Professional Glossy Photo paper 270g" in several inkjet
printers (HP and Epson but not Cannon). It's available in A4 and A3 size
from...

http://www.ez-gadgets.co.uk

It might be cheaper elsewhere but it works well for me.

results.

I use RedRiver Polor Gloss. Works fine, and it's a lot cheaper than Canon
Photo Paper Pro.

What is the difference between their Polar Gloss and Ultra Gloss. I do know
that the Polar is quite a bit more expensive. I bought 100 sheets of Ultra
and it is great. Looks as good as Canon Paper Pro for half the price.

7dayshop.com have a great deal on Galerie Classic papers (£17 for 75 A4
I think). They are slow drying, but give a very good result (inferior
to PPP, but still good). They are also reported to be more fade
resistant that pretty much anything else including the PPP.

Not totally sure, but they sell a cheap sample kit that has sheets from
every one of their 8.5X11 stocks.
