Epson cx5200 XP Pro driver anyone?

Dear All,

Any recommendations for a good source for a printer driver for my old CX5200
on a very new XP Pro installation?

I've had a Google about but it all seems pretty old out there ...

I would suspect that the latest drivers will be found at Epson's own
websites.

In North America, go to www.epson.com and click on North America/USA

Thne click on Drivers and Support and the drop down menu click on Printers.

Then go down to All in one, click on flatbeds, then a list will open up
to the right, click on CX5200, and then look on that list for Drivers
and Downloads. Click on the correct platform for you (Windows or Mac).

For Windows, you will find these among others:

Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Windows 98
epson10589.exe - 2.2MB - posted on 12/02/02

This self-extracting file contains the Epson Stylus CX5200 TWAIN
Driver v5.70A for Windows 98, Me, 2000, and XP. This file self-extracts
to your hard drive and is placed in c:\epson\epson10589.

First time installation: Install this driver before you connect the
CX5200 to your computer.

This self-extracting file contains the Epson Stylus CX5200 Printer

connecting the CX5200 to your computer.
NOTE: Windows 2000 Users - If you have previously installed Microsoft
Security Update KB835732, you may receive a General Protection Fault
error when installing an Epson printer driver. Please see our Windows
2000 printer driver installation instructions to successfully install
the driver.
