Hello NG.

I own the above printer and I can say I'm satisfied with the printouts on
plain paper and photo paper. However I was sorry to find out in the Wilhelm
Research report that these prints have a life of 4-6 years or so.
Now, is there some way to improve prints from my 1220?
I consider trying out the Imation "artist canvas" papers in hope to make my
prints more fade resistant. I searched the net and found nothing about the
fade resistance of prints on these papers. Also I checked the sites that
sell "archival" inks and they have products only for Epsons.

Now, i'll be happy to hear from anyone anything about using canvas paper
and/or HP inks.

Also, is there some company that sells "archival" inks for HPs?

TIA.

http://www.wilhelmresearch.com/ says "New display-life data for HP's new
Colorfast Photo Paper for HP 900 series and HP PhotoSmart printers (rated at
15-17 years*) " will be posted in the next few months. This paper is now
available, HP Colorfast Photo Paper, Glossy (fade-resistant) C7013A. The
following url has details, you will have to cut and paste the pieces back
together:
