Pretty much says it all. Does anyone actually make plain old 20/24-lb
laser printer paper in 4x6" format? I have booklets I want to print off,
and since they were originally DESIGNED for 4x6 format, I don't want to
have to carry around 8 1/2x11" pamphlets with way too much whitespace
and/or monster fonts.

This should be simple, even obvious. Why can't I find this? Do I have to
cut my own?

Thanks,
Colin

P.S. 5x7 would do in a pinch if it's available, but it's not really ideal.

I'm not aware of any, but the easy solution would be to purchase the paper
from a print shop and ask them to cut it for you.

Look up a program called ClickBook. It prints multiple pages per sheet
of paper. Especially handy for printing booklets that you bind with
staples and folding (up to 80 pages @ 4 pages per side of paper = 20
sheets of paper to staple in the middle and fold) but it can handle
hundreds of pages if you cut them both directions and glue or stitch
or staple bind. Might be able to print ranges of pages for folding into
multiple signatures which then would be stitch or staple bound.
I haven't tried that yet.

ClickBook also should work for printing the same page multiple times
per sheet when your printer driver doesn't support n-up printing.

Legal paper could get you four 4x6 pages per side or two 5x7.

Which edge are your booklets bound on and which way does the
text run? ClickBook should be able to handle any which way.
