I'm having the darnest time trying to print a perfect 8x10 on 8.5x11
paper. the only way I can come close is to tell the printer i am using
8x10 paper and have it print with no margins. But it still prints a bit
larger than a 8x10 print. This is just annoying when matting and
framing. Any hints. I've already experimented with %'s . and i use
fotocrop to crop my images as 8x10's.

Can't speak directly to your particular problem, but a good desktop
publishing program will do it and so will Adobe photoshop. At least on my
Canon S820. Also, depending on the printer, it may have certain border
requirements.

Use a different program, Photoshop LE, Thumbs Plus and
ArcSoft PhotoPrinter All will print 8 by 10 but there is always some
error. PhotoPaint and Uleads PhotoInpact also will print 8 by 10s and
they both have a 30 day trial with a download from their websites.
The PhotoPaint is a PC clone of PhotoShop and has just as many
pluggins.
