Epson generic color ink??

Hi,

I just bought a Epson photo 780. Great printer. I have found a website
that sells the ink cartridges for much cheaper than the Epson ones. see here

I am wondering if it is a good idea to use it? I see that on this printer
the head is not replaced with each cartridge, leading me to believe that if
this ink is not perfect there could be some problems down the road.

Can anyone add some light to this?

Has anyone used other brands in their printer?

I have bought generic Epson inkjet cartridges from

The generic / compatible cartridges are more reasonably priced than
the originals. I used to buy the originals, but with the originals you
are really paying for the brand name. I have found the compatibles to
last longer than the originals, so they are even better value.

Check out www.InkjetsNOW.com as they sell starter kits (epson 660, 780
and 790)and their help desk staff are very friendly if you have any
queries.
