Hey all,

I'm looking for a printer to buy but I can't seem to find what I'm
looking for. Here's what I'm looking for:

-good print quality in text/graphics (for college)
-good print quality for pics I download from the internet.
-Good pics for photos
-good speed
-No smearing on papers and none of that noticeable pixelation I've had
before printing out a regular pic from the internet.
-The least amount of noise possible.
-I would like it to have the three seperated colors but not necessary.
If anyone could give me some advice I would be very greatful. If you need
anymore info from me please request it. Thanks again

If you are trying to enlarge pics taken from the internet you are going to
have problems with any printer. Most just aren't high quality images. They
are optimized for the web not printing.

I also must have a usb port on the printer. Well, I understand what you're
saying. I mean more for grapghic for class because I don't want the ink to
run on the paper on the way to class. Any suggestions?

The lexmark Z705 is good (I own one), it connects threw USB. The Z705 is
$80, but it's $63.99 at office max this week. HP's have gone a good ways
down in quality, Epson are ok if you print alot (heads get clogged easly).
Canon I hear are very good (never used one but by review there good). Look
around and shop for what fits your needs.

The Epson C82 or the new C84. The ink is waterproof on plain paper.
Individual carts. Fast. The C82 is discontinued so you will find good
pricing.

Based on all features, plus the advantage of cheap and easy refilling, I
think the Canon i850 would be a very good choice. It meets all the criteria
you noted.
