hello,

i have a IDE hard drive as primary master, active, bootable. i also have a
active, bootable scsi hard drive.

when i boot the ide, everything works fine. but i want to use the faster
scsi hard drive as my OS drive and be able to also use the IDE one at the
same time as a 2nd drive (e.g. scsi is C:, IDE is D:)

the problem is, when i boot from the scsi drive, the IDE drive doesnt show
up as D:. when i boot from the IDE drive, the scsi drive does show up as
drive d. but i want the opposite thing.

fyi: to boot from scsi, i either unplug the IDE drive or change boot
sequence in BIOS.

thanks

When you boot from SCSI, what OS is it? Does the IDE show up at all?
