I am attempting to install a TEAC CDR-55S in an External case.
I am having a problem getting the ID selector to work. I will attempt
a diagram below

CDR55S
two rows of 8 pins

0 ID0
1 ID1
2 ID2
3 Parity
4 TERM
5 TEST (factory)
6 TEST (factory)
7 TEST (factory)

Wires from Case
one each
Blue Yellow Red and Black

Can someone help me get these connected so that the connector on the
outside of the case work. I am unable to get this drive recognized in
any configuration I have tried.

Thanks

Luc

Find the "common" wire to the ID switch, or try the black first. Put that
wire on on of the pins below the ones marked ID 0 1 2. Then hook the other 3
to the ID0 1 2 pins. May have to use a multimeter to find the "ground" pins.
See? The id pins are selected by grounding, so one row of the ID pins is
actually ground pins and theother row selscts the ID
