•IEEE PRESIDENT ATTENDING IPDPS TO PRESENT AWARD
Michael L. Kazar, an engineer whose expertise in network file system architectures has strongly influenced today’s cloud storage systems, will be presented with the 2013 IEEE Reynold B. Johnson Information Storage Systems Award by IEEE President Peter Staecker on 22 May at IPDPS 2013 during the evening banquet.

•ELSEVIER WRITERS WORKSHOP

IPDPS 2013 ADVANCE PROGRAM
The IPDPS 2013 program includes 12 workshops on Monday and 10 on Friday and 27 technical sessions of 108 papers to be presented on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Also on those three days, three invited speakers will make keynote presentations, there will be a PhD Forum, and a special industry session has been added (details below).
